MIDSOMMAR 2006

It takes forever to upload a picture. I think my computer is just as tired as I am. Whatever; to the left you have a picture of the Midsummer Pole that made my Midsummer complete. I've made the right circle. Or the left. It doesn't matter; they're both just as beautiful, haha.

Note the hands up close to people's heads. We're singing a weird song about little frogs where we're saying that they're funny to watch, since they have no ears nor a tail. At the picture we're mocking them, showing them where the ears should be. At least I think that is what we're doing. The song has been a part of my life for so long, that I don't normally reflect over its content.

The best part is when we illustrate the strength they have; their jumping! We all take big beautiful frog leaps. Unfortunately I joined in on that part, and therefore have no pictures of it.

THE INVITATION

Dear all,

Back in 2002, when blogs were used in a different way, I had a vision of uniting all of my friends into a happy web world, where everyone could meet wherever whenever. The inspiration came from our great Prof. Jeanne Olson, who created a blog for our class at NPU (some of you know what I'm talking about).

My great web utopia didn't really work out. You were way too boring or not technical enough. Not you, Magnus and sometimes neither were you, Helena, but honestly, the rest of you sucked. Big time. And yes, I am aware of the fact that not all of you got invited nor did I have the honor of having met you all back then. All of you are excused.

Sooo, what do you say? Should we give it another try?

This time around I will be the only one accessing the editing tools though. I love you all (well some of you I just like a little bit; you know who you are, hahaha), but I don't trust you to write often enough to share this blog with me.

The reason I'm doing this is that I want to keep in touch with all of you, and I'm way too bad at e-mailing or calling you. If you want to keep in touch with me and maybe other people you know know (or should know) me, you will add http://keepingintouchwithsara.blogspot.com/ to your favorites. And then, this is very important, you will visit it often. You will also write a lot of comments so that I know you're alive. Write about anything. And post pictures. Oh yes, I want lots of pictures! Hm, wait, I don't know if you're allowed to post pictures...well, if not; just e-mail them to me, and I'll post them for you. Feel free to use any language. If it is English, Spanish or Swedish, off course.
